Nebula

This gorgeous black beauty was on the euthanasia list at animal care and control due to her extreme stress while at the overcrowded shelter. I was called about saving her life by a volunteer who had a committed foster who wanted to save her life. I happily agreed to taking her under my rescue because with a committed foster I couldn’t let her die. As soon as transport showed up at the foster’s door with Nebula, the foster backed out leaving us with no place for this gentle beauty to go. (at 8 pm on a Sunday night no less) Thankfully a volunteer took her in last minute as I have no room and she is not a candidate for boarding, and she has been there since. We also since found her previous owner, who had posted her as missing under the name Mama (she was unspayed, but is now fixed) and the minute we contacted her about her dog she blocked everyone. This makes me believe she was just breeding dog, likely for fighting dogs, as the owner never bothered to look at Animal Care and Control and has blocked everyone in fear of getting in trouble.

Nebula is sweet, loving, obedient, eager to please, but very loud when she sees other dogs. We are working on that at the moment. This beautiful 70 lb hunk of love deserves a loving home where she will be cherished forever and not discarded to die.
